THE JEWISH TRADITION OF OUR JEWISH FAITH

"Become imitators of me (Sha'ul), as I also am of Messiah.  And I praise you,
brothers, that you remember me in every way and keep the TRADITIONS
as I delivered them to you." (1 Cor 11:1-2)  Sha'ul, a Jew and a PHARISEE,
imitated Yahshua, handed down and kept the traditions of the Jewish
     leadership.

"Yahshua spoke to the crowds and to His taught ones, saying, 'The scribes
and Pharisees sit on the seat of Mosheh.  Therefore, WHATEVER they say to
you to guard, guard and do.'" (Math 23:1-2)  Yahshua, an orthodox Jew, kept
BOTH, the written and oral Torah, perfectly.

"Therefore, brothers, stand firm; and hold to the traditions you were
taught by us (the Jewish leadership), whether we spoke them or wrote
     them in a letter." (2 Thes. 2:15)

Organizations Working Toward The Rebuilding of the Kadosh Third Temple

Picture
Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, founder and head of the Temple Institute, served in the paratrooper brigade which liberated the Temple Mount in the Six Day War of 1967, and was one of the first soldiers to reach the Mount. Rabbi Ariel wrote, "Through the years, the more I studied the more I began to understand that we had only ourselves and our own inaction to hold accountable: G-d does not intend for us to wait for a day of miracles. We are expected to act. We must accomplish that with which we have been charged: to do all in our power to prepare for the rebuilding of the Holy Temple, and the renewel of the divine service."

      The Temple Mount Faithful
The founder and leader of the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement is Gershon Salomon.  He is an Officer in the IDF.  He has dedicated himself to the vision of consecrating the Temple Mount to the Name of G-d, to removing the Moslem shrines placed there as a symbol of Moslem conquest, to the soon rebuilding of the Third Temple there, and the G-dly redemption of the People and the Land of Israel.

Ten "Commandments" or 613?

YHVH is the True Name of G-d.               Yahshua is the True Name of our Messiah.

YHVH's Instruction to The Assembly of Yisrael (Kahal Yisrael)

YHVH said, "When the assembly is to be assembled, blow the shofar.  1) Assemble the people to Me and I make them
2) hear My Words, so that they 3) learn to fear Me all the days they live on the earth and 4) teach My Words to their children." Deuteronomy 4:10, Numbers 10:7

There is Only ONE Assembly of Chosen Ones, The Assembly of Yisrael (Kahal Yisrael).

"And you shall divide this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Yisrael.  And it shall be that you divide it by lot as an inheritance for yourselves, and for the strangers who sojourn (reside) in your midst and who bear children among you.  And they shall be to you AS NATIVE-BORN among the children of Yisrael - with you they have an inheritance in the midst of the tribes of Yisrael." Ezekiel 47:21,22

"For we are His workmanship, created in Messiah Yahshua unto good works, which Elohim prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.  Therefore remember that you, ONCE gentiles in the flesh, were at that time without Messiah, excluded from the citizenship of Yisrael and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no expectation and without Elohim in the world.  But NOW in Messiah Yahshua you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah.  So THEN you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but, FELLOW CITIZENS with the set-apart ones and MEMBERS of the household of Elohim." Ephesians 2:10-22

Is There a Different Torah for Those that Sojourn (reside) with Yisrael?

And the children of Yisrael set out from Egypt, and a mixed multitude went up with them too.  "There is ONE TORAH for the native-born and for the stranger who sojourns among you." Exodus 12:49

Sh'ma Yisrael

"Hear, O Yisrael:  YHVH our Elohim, YHVH is one!"
"And you shall love YHVH, your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might."
"And you shall love your neighbor as yourself, I am YHVH."
"And you shall guard to do as YHVH your Elohim has commanded you - do not turn aside, to the right or to the left.  And this is the command, the laws and right-rulings which YHVH your Elohim has commanded, so that you fear YHVH your Elohim, to GUARD ALL HIS LAWS AND HIS COMMANDS.  And you shall hear, O Yisrael, and shall guard to do, that it might be well with you, and that you increase greatly as YHVH your Elohim has spoken to you." Deut 5:32-6:25, Lev 19:18

This is the First and Second Greatest Commandment.

Yahshua said, "You shall love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your mind. This is the first and great command.  And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commands hang all the Torah and the Prophets."  Matthew 22:36-40

"And you shall love YHVH, your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might." "And you shall love your neighbor as yourself, I am YHVH." DEUTERONOMY 6:5, LEVITICUS 19:18

As you can see, these are the same two commandments which we have had from the beginning.  They are not "new-testament" commands that replaced all of the "old-testament" commands.  Rather, the only way to keep these two commands is to guard to do all the commands that YHVH our Elohim has commanded us to do. (See Sh'ma Yisrael).

How Do the Children of Yisrael Uphold the First and Second Great Commands?

By THIS we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Elohim and guard His commands.
For THIS is the love for Elohim, that we guard His commands, and His commands are NOT too heavy.  1 John 5:2,3

Did Yahshua Come To Destroy the Torah?

Yahshua was teaching them, saying, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah and the Prophets.  I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill.  For truly, I say to you, till the heavens and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by NO MEANS pass from the Torah till all be done.   Matthew 5:17, 18

Did Yahshua Teach a Different Message Than His Father?

And YHVH said, "I shall raise up for you a Prophet (The Messiah), listen to Him.  And I shall put My Words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. Deuteronomy 18:15-22

Yahshua said, "The words that I speak to you I do not speak from Myself.  But the Father who stays in Me does His works.  If you love Me, you shall guard My commands." John 14:10-15

Yahshua said, "The Words WHICH YOU GAVE ME, I have given to them.  And they have received them, and have TRULY KNOWN THAT I CAME FORTH FROM YOU, and they believed that You sent Me.  John 17:8

If Yahshua would have come with a different message than that which was spoken by His Father since the beginning, then He could not be identified as our Messiah, the One being sent by the Father.  Rather, He would be identified as a FALSE -MESSIAH.

Beloved, I write no new command to you, but and old command which you have had from the beginning.  The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning. 1 John 2:7

Is Keeping the Shabbat (Saturday) Necessary?

And YHVH spoke, saying, "My Shabbats you are to guard, BY ALL MEANS, for it is a SIGN between Me and You throughout your generations, to know that I, YHVH, am setting you apart.  And you shall guard the Shabbat, for it is set-apart to you.  Everyone who profanes it shall certainly be put to death.  Six days work is done, and on the seventh is a Shabbat of rest, set apart to YHVH.  And the children of Yisrael shall guard the Shabbat, to perform the Shabbat throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant.  Between Me and the children of Yisrael it is a sign forever."  Ex 31:12-17

How Do We Know What Holidays We Are To Observe?

And YHVH spoke, "The appointed times of YHVH which you are to proclaim are these: Shabbat, Pesach (Passover), Hag Hamatzot (Festival of Unleavened Bread), Yom Habikkurim (Day of Firstfruits), Shavuot (Festival of Weeks), Rosh Hashanah (Head of the Year), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), Sukkot (Festival of Booths)." Leviticus 23

Is Scripture Clear on What We Should NOT Eat?

And YHVH spoke, saying, "Only, THESE you do NOT EAT, it is UNCLEAN to you: the camel, the rabbit, the hare, the pig - their flesh you do NOT EAT, they are UNCLEAN to you.  Whatever does not have a split hoof and chews its cud, that is unclean to you and you do NOT EAT.  All that have not fins or scales in the waters are an abomination to you."  Lev 11

And you shall MAKE A DISTINCTION between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean birds and clean.  And do NOT make yourself abominable by beast or by bird, or whatever creeps on the ground, which I have separated from you as UNCLEAN.  Leviticus 20:25
